A purveyor of deep, infectious housey grooves and a funky, feel-good atmosphere; his emotive musical selection and blending are his own therapy.

Growing up on an electric diet of Funk, Soul, Jazz, Drum and Bass, and House, his early years were a mixed spectrum of musical influences.  Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of the music that he loves best.

The early 2000s saw him influence the Grime scene under the alias ‘Crafty’ as part of the ‘Double Impact Crew’.  The loosely formed London collective of DJs and MCs had numerous underground hits including “One More Time” which featured heavily in the vinyl bags of Grime DJs all over London Town and earned them a slot at the world-famous Fabric nightclub.

In 2008, Stache co-founded ‘Obese Beats’ and sent shock waves through British bass culture as the company went on to book a host of high profile names in the dance music world such as Rusko, Nero, Beat Assassins, Fred V & Grafix, Mistajam & Ed Solo to name a few.

2012 saw him store the vinyl in the shed and pack his bags to satisfy the wanderlust in his system. Visiting over 50 countries and throwing down whenever the opportunity presented itself, he has played in venues in Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Croatia, Serbia, Greece, Malta, Latvia, Estonia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Bali, Lombok, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

Stache arrived in Whistler, Canada in 2017 and quickly established himself as one of the busiest DJs in the resort town, if the venue books musicians, chances are he’s played there at some point.
